Last updated: 20 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information PATOIS Limited ("Patois", "we", "us") collects when you use patoisfood.co.uk, contact us or book a table, and what we do with it. It covers our Canary Wharf stall and Likkle Bit by Patois in Brixton.

Who we are

PATOIS Limited is the controller of your personal information. We are registered in England & Wales, company number 11603785, with our registered office at 702 Robeson Apartments, 6 Rodney Place, London SE17 1HE. You can reach us about anything in this policy at info@patoisfood.co.uk.

What we collect

Please only tell us about allergies or dietary needs if you want us to take them into account. We use that information only to look after you on the day.

How and why we use it

We do not sell your information, and we will not send you marketing emails unless you have asked to receive them.

Who we share it with

We only share your information with the service providers we use to run the business:

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they are required to use safeguards recognised under UK data protection law. We may also share information if the law requires us to.

Cookies

This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. If you use the OpenTable booking tool, OpenTable may set its own cookies, which are covered by OpenTable's cookie policy.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and related emails for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless we need them longer for an ongoing booking or event, or to meet a legal requirement. Booking records are kept for as long as needed to manage your reservation and meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, object to how we use it, or transfer it to you or someone else. To make a request, email info@patoisfood.co.uk. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
